Claws

Claws are very popular! They are a symbol of the animal's strength, resilience and survival instinct! Here is a little bit of information for you to know what to expect when purchasing claws from us. 

Claws are made from two parts: 

The matrix is, in reality, the distal phalanx (the very tip of the "finger") and that is a bone we leave inside the claw itself in order to preserve its durability and shape. 

The claw itself is the keratin sheath around the matrix. It is the "nail" of the animal. 

These two parts make up the item you will receive when you order our products. We clean them by hand and sometimes, we need to glue the two together to make sure they stay together. They vary in size, sometimes within the same species. 

If they do vary a lot within the same species, such as in bears, wolves, lynxes, etc., we offer sizes ranging in small, medium, large and xlarge. Certain claws are harder to come across which can explain why we have less of them in stock then others!
