Bear Jawbone

These are halves of bears' lower jaws. As with most mammals, the front of lower jaws are not fused together. As such, as bones are cleaned (by nature or by us), both sides come apart. We do our best to put them back together so they will hold but sometimes, as it is not a natural fit, they do come apart in spite of our best efforts. If you acquire a full jaw set, please be aware that they are fragile! 

All our bones are the result of recycling every part of the animal's carcass. Bones are used as costume elements, as decorations in your cabin or den, and as spell components or personal accessories and oddities. As with everything else in our shop, they are ethically sourced!

If you choose a product that still has teeth in, please know that teeth are quite different from bones. While bones can withstand a lot of wear and tear, teeth are sensitive to temperature change, susceptible to staining that does not respond to whitening techniques and are prone to cracking. The teeth we offer vary greatly, more specifically in terms of color. We do not pull teeth from skulls and so they are, for the vast majority, either found while foraging or from broken jaws. If you have specifics in mind such as types of teeth or color requirements, do not hesitate to let us know!
