Our genuine Canadian Ermine Weasel (Stoat) Fur Pelt is known in its white winter phase, is a highly prized, dense, and silky pelt historically associated with royalty and high-ranking nobility. While brown in summer, the animal turns white with a characteristic black-tipped tail in winter, making the pelt, often used in garments and ceremonial robes, both rare and luxurious.
Fur from wild animals, hunted by Quebec hunters, is environmentally friendly. Much more eco-friendly than synthetic fur who is partly made from plastic, a well-known petroleum derivative.
Some stoat pelts may have a slightly yellowish coloration. That is normal and does not constitute a default.
