Natural Coyote Sacrum

The sacrum (coccyx or tail bone) is the last bone at the base of the vertebral column, right where the hip bones join the backbone and just before the tail begins. There are a lot of nerves that travel through this part of the animal's body and so the bone is very solid. 

For people who work with Chakras, the "root chakra" (associated with the color red) in humans is situated at the sacrum and so this bone can make a great symbol for the root chakra and all it is associated with, such as physical identity, stability and grounding.
