Polar Bear Skull - Complete 13"

This polar bear (ursus maritimus) skull is complete and measures 13 inches long. However, the bones are not quite as white as other specimens, there are darker zones in the bones which may be indicative of trauma sustained by the animal during its lifetime or upon its passing. It can also be how the animal was processed after it passed. It is impossible to tell what caused these colorations. It is still an impressive piece that came from ancestral hunting traditions of native northern Canadian people.
